Chlotar IV - King of Austrasia(715/6-719)

Chlotar IV, King of AUSTRASIA

Notes

CHLOTAR IV
(d. 719), allegedly the Merovingian king of Austrasia, placed on the throne by the mayor of the palace, Charles Martel, in 715/716 in order to check the pretensions of the Neustrian Chilperic II. He was possibly a son of Theodoric III, but his bloodline is doubtful.
